Fusing I - "Crank Up the Heat"   -  3 Weeks/2.5 hours week  -  $135.00

Using 90 COE glass, you will learn the fundamentals of fusing.   We create an experimental glass tile, a night-lite, a ring dish, a piece of jewelry, and an additional project.  Some of the projects will be taken to a full fuse and some will be tacked fused...the dish will be slumped.  We will furnish most supplies and the kiln time.  You will furnish the creativity and some additional supplies if desired.

 

The projects will be fired after class.  You will need to return a few days after the final class to pick up your final project.

 

You must know how to cut glass  to enroll in this class.

Fusing I class projects

Fusing II - "Hot Glass Bends"  -  2 Weeks/2.5 hours week  -  $85.00 

 

Fusing II Class Projects

Using 90 COE glass, you will create a round disk for fusing during week one which will be slumped.  You will also create one additional project to remian flat.  We will furnish some supplies and the kiln time.  You will furnish the base glass, creativity and some additional supplies if desired.

 

The projects will be fired after classes.  You will need to return a few days after the final class to pick up your final project

You must know how to cut glass, know the fundamentals of fusing, and have fusing experience.

Fusing Workshops  -  workshop is 2.5 hours  -  Cabochons is $55.00 - Tattoo Stencils is $70.00

Each workshop is for a different project.  We will furnish most supplies, patterns, and kiln time.  You need to provide the creativity to make your unique pieces.  These workshops are designed to give you added experience in fusing small projects even if you do not have a kiln at home.  These are great gift items.  No previous fusing experience needed.


The projects will be fired after classes. You will need to return in a few days to pick up your final project.

 

Jewelry Cabochons - We will be creating four or five small jewelry pieces using 90COE glass.  We will furnish most supplies and kiln time.  You can wear your glass creations.

Tattoo Stencils - We will be creating 2 stenciled projects on fused glass using the Wardell "Tattoo" process.  We will teach you the methods of creating the colored "gue" product and how to use it on this great new process.
